I'm not Stacey, but IMHO we do not ned them. Save your money especially on the jewlery type/pretty ones I can say as a healthcare provider who worked for 10yrs in eR they are overlooked as jewlery If too pretty and non medic alert looking!!! The reason some get them is to say no blind NG tube, the risk of perforation of pouch has been discussed with me as only early postop, once the pouch heals not an issue. It is a personal choice but not one I feel to f/up on. Jamie

Hi Stacey, I just got mine from Ms.Moozy and I LOVE it.  I have gotten some great comments on how pretty it is but it still looks like a medical alert bracelet.  It is worth it to me to have SOMETHING to let medical people know I have had RNY.  One never knows when we might not be able to advocate for ourselves in a medical emergency.
