Chewing
So I am now 6 days out and I had Ricotta last night for dinner and this morning for breakfast...BUT...I was watching my friend eating a roast beef sandwich and was watering at the mouth. I think I am going to have egg for dinner just to chew. I am nervous about chewing enough. Was anyone else nervous about this? Did anyone have any problems?
Oh and I am dreaming of pasta and pizza...is this normal?

I'm 15 days out and was definitely nervous! I started my cottage cheese, tuna and egg salad today. I actually called the nutritionist to make sure I didn't have to drink so much protein. She told me that 1 Carnation Instant Breakfast is fine. I'm only eating 1/2 cup 3x a day starting today. I guess I don't want to eat more than 500 - 600 calories or so.
I WANT SUSHI AND PASTA! Trust me, weeks 5 and 6 I will be having pasta and shrimp, lots!

Yes, I had that feeling as well.....once you start to eat other foods just take your time and chew. You will do fine as long as you take your time to see how things are going down and feeling in your pouch. I for one go depressed about food, I had to mourn it because I thought I would never be able to eat these things again but in time you can but just lighter and smaller amounts. Once your out a while you come to learn that "those" other foods are not worth all the work you have to do to keep the weight off if you eat them. I know for me I still have my cravings and allow it sometimes!
hang in there hun and all will work out.
