VERY NEW HERE

Teri, i'm so sorry to here about your husband,and step children. As far as being depressed andstressed out. you feel so much better about things once you have done somthing for yourself. I think you should have Rny if you want it will help with your ilnesses but nor me or anybody else can make that decision for you.you need to that on your own. You need to do all the reshearch you can and make an informed decision. You do what you think is best for you. I am 5  foot 4wegh240 and feel that this is the best decission for me. I also have 2 hurniated discs and sleep apnea,high collestrol and have been on every diet pill and diet made. i made this decision so I could be there for my children. Hiya Terri!  Welcome to OH!  This is the place to be for support!  We all have a story to share, so I'm very proud of you for being able to sit down and do so!!!  I can tell you I have gotten more support here than I have in my real, 3D life!  It's very normal to be nervous about this whole process.  From what I've read, including myself, we're all nervous up until surgery!  Don't be afraid to ask anything you want here! *~*Blessed be*~*

Terri, Sorry to hear of your troubles.  Of course it's normal to feel this way.  It is major surgery!  I think it's great you are taking charge of your health to better your situtation.  Good for you!!

Terri, Well welcome to the NY board hun! ~hugs~ Sorry to hear about the troubles you are having, this is a great place to come and vent, chat or just yell if ya need to!  I knew for my life that this was something I needed to do!  It took so much reading, chatting and learning before I was ready to do it though, I had my first consult and canceled it the day before because I was so nervous. Took about a month and then I was ready! Once I did all my tests to get approval I knew from those results that I NEEDED to do this!  I wish you all the best hun and please keep us posted!
