I can finally resume going to work 5 days a week like I'm supposed to! Thank goodness for laptops, blackberries & gotomypc.com! My last test was today; endoscopy. My poor old unfilled band looks just fine & so does everything else. I think I'll take my band home after Dr. Garber removes it! Interesting: The doc did say he saw some bile, which indicates reflux. No big deal, he said. I was on Nexium for years for that & bye bye reflux. Now, my insurance doesn't cover Nexium & I'm on Previcid. I know there are other PPI's to try, but I do miss my Nexium. I think I'll check out how expensive it is to buy it from Canada. Now I'll cross my fingers & toes & hope for approval. Karen

Congrats, Karen!!! LOL @ you wanting to bring your band home! I've used Previcid. I still have some pills left. My reflux was inconsistent. I might have it 2 days, or even one day, then not have it for months. I've got my crossables crossed for ya too!

Hi Chelle, Yup. going to RNY from band. Band worked great.. I developed an esophagus problem. I was laughing last night reading posts on Lapbandtalk.com. A lot of really nice people who would "Never go for RNY." Ha ha...I used to be one of them! I'd love to hear about your new software!
