Need a some HELP in Long Island

Hello, I am newbie. I am starting the process for my lap band. I have located a Dr to do the surgery. Dr. Geiss in Syossett LI. I am having a hard time locating a psychologist that takes GHI insurance to perform my evaluation. Everyone I contacted wants you to be a long term patient. The Dr has recommend one but she does not take insurance and she is charging $350 for the evaluation. Can anyone recommend a psychologist that has done this type of evaluation that takes insurance. I am looking in the NYC area or Long Island NY. Thanks in advance for any assistance.Can wait to get the ball rolling.

i used dr cooperstone right next to him and its not easy to fine a psycologist that accepts health insurance however i did find someone that accepted half so i paid 65 out of pocket otherwise it would be 125 so its really not so bad ask the receptionist at the window in front of cooperstones for a list of psycologists they are pros at the whole insurance thing!!!
