1st initial consult

I am new here. I have my 1st consult Tuesday morning. Just wondering what goes on and how long consult lasts. I am very nervous about consult. Thanks for any help....

Hi, Christine. My initial consult was about 40mins from start to finish. I met w/ the RN & eviewed med history, did wts. & vitals, & then got the gown on. Dr. was quick too. He asked a few questions and did a physical exam. That was it, quick & simple. My insurance also required a psych eval, nutritional class, & exercise class, but they were all @ the bariatri center where my doctor is located. They went smoothly as well.

Hello and welcome to the board! My 1st consult was about 2 hrs. Met with all the staff, weighed in went over some paperwork. Then met with the doctor for about 1hr after I met with the personal trainer, then with the lady who was submitting everything to my insurance company. Quick and pain free!!!
