Not Approved
Three words , appeal, appeal, appeal.
I was denied and had to appeal twice before i had to call to see if my doctor said medically necessary why wouldn't they cover. Next day, covered.
I don't know if this will be your case but you are given the option of appealing and sometimes if they see how hard you are willing to go after them they will give in.
Anyway it is worth a try and can't hurt.

Aw Jasmine! {{{hugs from me to you}}} I'm desperately afraid that I'll have the same problem. Which insurance company do you have? I've already decided that if I'm denied (and am still employed once the depression really hits) I'll change insurance companies if I have to. I worked for Empire BCBS for a year and I know its frustrating fighting to get things approved and precertified and all that jazz. But you deserve this, don't take no for an answer. If they say no, ask again. You know that phrase, "the squeeky wheel, gets the oil"? Its true! Sometimes we'd rather just give up and let depression take over.
But don't do it chicky. Fight 'em and you'll be so glad that you did.

Hi Honey,
I am really sorry you were not approved.
Just keep in mind you are working with great people at MT. Sinai and just keep praying. What type of insurance do you have. Dr. Kini's staff will help you appeal it stay positive and you will see everything will work out if you need to talk you know where to find me.
