That's awesome to be 10 lbs below your goal weight. I hope I have that problem if and when I ever get this done. I will be heading to Mexico soon because I am not dealing with that wait list.

Aww thats awesome. I am 7 months out and still have troubles sometimes with constipation so i take lax a day every day and it seems to work! *knock on wood*

Can't wait to see you tonight Susan! So happy to hear you're doing well with recovery!!!
Sorry, can't help with the constipation question, I'm 3mths out and seem to have the other problem more times than not. Ugh!!
Keep sipping, and maybe set a timer every 15 min to remind yourself to drink some fluids. Sounds like the removal of grehlin is kicking in already....I know what you mean about missing meals. ..oops!

Glad to hear you are doing well. Thanks for sharing your difficulties with getting in enough fluids and proteins. It is something that will help those of us still awaiting our turn be prepared to face.
Wishing you continued success.

Well I am now 3 weeks post op and feeling pretty good. Things went quite well with surgery on a Tuesday morning and discharged on Thursday afternoon.
I have been feeling quite well overall. Trying hard to get in all of my fluids and protein, which isn't always easy...I didn't think it would be a problem but I find that I am not really hungry and that a couple of hours will go by and I'll realize that I haven't had anything to eat or drink which isn't good
The only complaint that I do have and I don't know if it is common or not is that I am very constipated I know that is probably TMI
I have started using Benefibre daily and just got colace and started using it yesterday. I just wi**** would work!
Well hope everyone is well. Take care and I'm really hoping to get to the OWLSS group meeting tonight

Have no fear peeps!!!
I did an experiment this AM just out of curiosity! I had a 42 bougie sleeve when operated on. I am 3 years, 2 months and few days out!. Well, I haven't really measured a lot in the past years to really judge the portion sizes of my food. I go through phases and it doesn't last long. Well this AM on an empty stomach. I ate 3 ounces of plain chicken breast, was satisfied! took the other ounce off the chicken bones and it was a tad too much. I should of stayed at 3 ounces. So, you live by your surgeons orders and eat dense protein and veggies, fruit, carbs for your lifetime. Things should work out pretty well. Some days, I feel that I have stretched the ole tool right out. But, then go back to basics and realize, nope, I haven't. The grazing is a killer with carbs!
Have a great Saturday everyone!!
