Hello Denise, I am not sure when first stall hit but know that they do. I once had a 3 week stall but then dropped again. It is your body trying to hold onto the fat. It is okay just keep following the program. Make sure you are having enough protien. the more protien the fast the weight loss. Water protien and exercise, the 3 key factors. good Luck! How are you feeling otherwise? take care Kelly

Hey Everyone, Yes it is a week or more away but just wanted to put in a reminder that a week from this Monday is our Monthly Support Group. It is Monday March 3 at the Thomas Branigan Library in the Dresp Room there is a sign for it right in front of door. If not someone at front desk will direct you. We will have a guest speaker . Also bring some great recipes if you have some new ones or if you are new to our group any recipes that you would like to share that work for you . bring them to the meeting or send recipes to me and I will print and make copies before next meeting. I am excited we have have new members joining our group. Let people know we are out there. People who are even thinking about surgery let them know what great support we are!!!! Looking forward to seeing you all Kelly I will also have more meeting dates next week i need to schedule with Library for the next three dates.

My daughter is having a lapband placed in El Paso, I loved her surgeon Dr. Clapp.  He works with the group at Providence hospital.  I would recomed him to anyone looking for a surgeon.  He stayed late and spent about 30 mn talking wiht my daughter and I just getting to know my daughter and make her feel comfortable.

Topic: RE: Any Support Group in Rio Rancho?

When I spoke with Dr. Frezza last week he didn't mention that he was leaving his practice. He said he was just busy with seminars and stuff relating to the school. I know that he is still doing my surgery either the end of March or in April.  He did, however, state that if he was leaving he would send a letter out to all his patients. That's about all I know. Hope that helps.

Their isn't any who does WLS in NM.  I ended up going to El Paso for my surgery.  I was considering lapband and at the last minute change to RNY.  Good Luck on finding a surgeon.
