Shauna is doing great!

Update:  Shauna has been up twice to walk the halls of Frye Regional and several times to the potty.  Sat in the chair a couple of times, too.

She has been nauseated, but no vomiting, has some gas pains, and just surgical pain, but she has found the Morphine and phenergan are her bestest  friends....  LOL

She is doing great - Allen has read her some of the messages on the board and she appreciates each and every one of them.  She will be back on the boards to tell everyone herself soon.  And as always she is thinking of everyone but herself. 

Allen is spending the night and I will go back tomorrow afternoon to meet her children and give Allen time to get out.

Thanks for the update, sounds like she's doing great except for that aweful nausea!  I wish her continued quick recovery and look forward to seeing her on line soon.

Thanks so much for the updates ... I haven't wanted to call and bother them, but I've been checking the board regularly for word of her recovery. I'm so sorry for her discomfort, but I'm glad she's getting the medication and more importantly the support she needs to ease her way. I'm so proud of her for doing the things she needs to do to enhance her recovery. It's a sign that she will do very well as she makes this journey, because I believe she will do whatever she needs to do.

Please tell her I'm delighted she's joined us on the Loser's Bench!!

Thanks for the updates on Shauna.
She called me twice while I was in the hospital this week.
She's such a warm, caring person and I reassured her she'd be fine - so, I'm thrilled she's doing well.  I experience the nausea, too, but the hospital staff was quick to load me up on anti-nausea meds.  And, I loved my PCP pump, too ... LOL!

Please tell her I'm thinking of her and will call and check in with her later this afternoon.

Thanks for the update me and Mr. Morphine didnt get along LOL tell her I feel for her, I was nauseated really, really bad so I know how the poor thing feels. Tell her I said hi and she will feel much better once she gets home to her own bed

Sounds like Shauna is doing great.
tell her I love her determined spirit this is a big part in acheiving what we want.
Shauna and I share that determination and this is why I love her so much.

I am so excited for Shauna and so glad she is doing good. She was so ready for the surgery.  I don't think I have met anyone that has read so much about the RNY. SHe is so full of information about the WLS.

That is great...now she is going to see htat the worst part of the process is that nasty liquid diet. She is such a strong beautiful woman and will be out and about in no time flat.
