It's 24 degrees outside.......

Yeap nice and chilly out there.
The bulldogs and I have been on our walk this morning.
I find it a great way to get moving in the morning.
Do not fret if you all dont see me post much this next week it appears that the holiday rush has begun.
Lee is off the whole weekend which is almost a unheard of event here.
We are going HDTV shopping today.

Yesterday Ann came up and we went out to lunch and went to Trader Joes.
I found the buffalo burgers 40 something grams of protien but I will never be able to eat a whole pattie.
I also found the  chicken wrap chicken stuff Barb told me they had at TJ.
We had a nice day together.

One more thing it looks like I will be able to get the pump for my legs.
I have reached my deductable and they will pay 80% so it looks like I will get the pump before the new year.
Once I have the pump I can use it on a daily bases on my legs to help drain the fluid.

Good morning Annie!!  It's only 18 degrees up here in good ole Virginia this morning and we have almost a foot of snow on the ground!!   Our local high school football team made the playoffs this year and we are going to their game at 1:30 p.m. today.  I sure hope we don't freeze to death!!  Oh well, I'll just jump around and yell a lot and hopefully that will keep me warm!!!


That's good news about the pump for your legs.  I hope everything works out well for you regarding that.  Stay warm and have a great weekend!

Oh My Donna a foot of snow already.
When I walk in the cold I bundle up with a hat and gloves and always wear Lee's leather bomber jacket which by the way is feeling a little bit baggy  LOL

I'm glad to hear that you found the chicken wrap goodies and re: the buffalo burger, just think how many more grams of protien you are getting with that, than if you were just eating plain old hamburger. No said we need to eat a whole one at a sitting anyway, right?

Great news about your leg pump - does this mean you will now be able to leap tall buildings??  and run faster than the bionic man?  LOL

Don't know how cold it is here this morning - but when I came in last night around 1 am - the PT cruiser thermometer reading was 20... and the wind has made it worse.
