You guessed it sick again!
This morning I woke up at 6:30am with a blood sugar of 51 but was able to get a little juice in and a couple of peanut butter crackers and went back to bed. Got up and went to Calabash to the Christmas shop and decided to go and try and eat some crab legs and oh what a mistake that was and I ordered one cluster was the least amount I could get and I ate about 3 bites and then the pain started and I'm back to vomiting every 5 minutes and my chest and back are really hurting, my sugar is low again and I've tried OJ, sugar pills, and saltine crackers to try and get it up and all I do is throw it back up. I had Jason (my son) to call the doctor and of course it wasn't my doctor on call and he told him there was nothing he could do for me and I'm like what is wrong with these damn doctor's and what good are they if they can't even try to help you? By the way the nurse told me yesterday I needed to start trying to eat soft mushy stuff and to nibble all day that I really needed to start eating even if it did hurt a little and going back to full liquids the next day wasn't helping me to get used to eating or something like that she said. I had a grilled white fish last night well about 2 bites of it so I didn't figure the crab would be any worse. It's midnight and I've been throwing up since 3:30pm and haven't had any liquids or anything to amount to anything and I'm so sick of being sick if you know what I mean. I don't know where all the mucus is coming from that I keep vomiting up. I know I'm probably dehyrated because of not keeping anything down and also my blood pressure is like 100/70 which I was told that was a sign that I was getting dehyrated. I sure hope tomorrow is going to be a better day and I get at least some protein shakes in. Can anyone promise me this is going to get better?

It does get get better. I'm so very sorry that you have been and are struggling.
I don't know if it helps you to know that my blood pressure is often 100/60 and it's not because I'm ill or dehydrated. It's possible that the lower blood pressure is a possitive thing instead of a problem.
It sounds to me like you are having issues with things getting stuck and they 'mucas' that you are experiencing is what is 'commonly' known as 'foamies'... I am sure that you are going very slowly, but you might need to go even slower when eating. You cannot take anything that remotely resemble a normal bite or even a normal 'small bite.' You may need to take 'bites' that are only the size of a pea and chew that 30 times before swallowing and wait at least 3 minutes between swallowing the last bite and starting the next. I found that eating like that really helped me when I was dealing with the 'foamies.' Of course, that doesn't help once the foamies have started, but the next time you are ready to eat.
The other thing I would suggest is that you consider doing something with beans and legumes. They are high in protien and tend to go down well.
Again, I'm so sorry that you are struggling and hope that this gets easier for you soon.

No I don't blame the doctor's for me being sick but sometimes it just seems it goes in one ear and out the other and when you have been vomiting as long as I have and been in pain then yeah it starts to get to you.

Yeah karlaanne that's right :). I'm sorry you are going thru this mess as well but I'm glad there is someone who understands what is happening with me and I don't feel like it's always our fault that we have these issues ya know.
I drank the tea for two hours nothing in it not even splenda and it stayed down but the pouch is hurting and I keep burping like it wants to come back up, I called the nurse back and she is going to get in touch with the doctor and see what he says.
