I visited Lori M. today...

While I was in Charlotte for an appointment with my endocrinologist (who, by the way, thinks my thyroid may be causing me to experience fatigue and the stalls that have been driving me crazy), I went to Mercy to visit Miss Lori.  Let me tell you...

She looked FREAKIN' AMAZING!  OMG, I was nowhere NEAR the shape she was in today when I was in the hospital!!!  She was up and moving around, no catheter, no pain pump, NO DRAIN!!!  I think she is superwoman or something!  She absolutely did not look like she'd just had major surgery yesterday!  Although her doc and mine are in practice together, they  have different protocols, and she was able to eat a few bites of yogurt today.

I have a feeling she's going to be one of those post ops that are able to tap-dance at 2 weeks out! LOL! 

I told her you guys were pulling for her, and she had a lot of phone calls wishing her well.

And I hope your appt went well and they can straighten out the thyroid problem if that is the issue.

Thanks for the update, Lisa.  What a sweet friend you are.  :)  If Lori looks anything like she sounds on the phone, I hear ya.  The icing on the cake is that she sounds soooo *happy!* 

Glad you had that appointment and hope you get the help with the thyroid to get back your energy and break those stalls.  I'll be pulling for you too!
