Depressed/Mad
Thank you Pushnowind. I can relate to the diabetes issue as well even if I'm not taking as much insulin as I was its still like I'm not eating anything why isn't my sugar stable without the insulin. Also I know 40 lbs is alot to lose in such a short time but the last few weeks I've only lost like a couple of pounds and the same question in my mind why aren't I losing when I'm not keeping anything down. Life goes on I guess lol.

Cindy one of my biggest frustrations so far was right out of the chute I was dropping weight like hot air balloon on a fast accent.. I could just see the sandbags of fat disappearing. My sugar was still acting up according to my doc because I most likely had enough sugar in my liver to open a candy store and after that the fat was converting into sugars at an alarming rate and it all made a lot more sense. For the past few weeks my loss has slowed down but stayed consistent with a pound or two a week which took a great bit of getting used to. However my sugars really started to show promise of normalcy. I am just now starting to have some issues with my pouch and am trying not to get into some of my old habits of not chewing up stuff till its near liquid. I took one bite of supper last night in a restaurant and it was all I could do to hold it down.. I just hope you can get to keeping stuff down and not having those obstructive problems. I guess in twenty years they will have developed some mini stomach complete with all the accessories to make us not want to eat as much. Until then we are basically the pioneers of weight loss through surgery.. Keep your chin up and things should start turning around soon.
