It looks like Ben will be able to have his surgery after all...

As many of you know, this has been a tough week in a number of ways, but I want to take a moment to thank you for the kindness and support that I and Ben have recieved during the past week.

We don't know what the future holds for us, but I guess that's always true... Just sometimes we have more of a 'sense' of stability, than actual stability.

Ben had his FMLA form signed, so it appears that he will be able to have his surgery. For that, I am very grateful.

Thanks agian for the words of support, the PM's, the networking, for everything... It is appreciated more than words can express.

To be honest, we really don't know. According to his boss, no real decision about if, when or who have really been made yet. So... we'll just move forward, I guess. We'll continue networking and fishing and see what Ben can reel in.

Thanks ... We really don't 'know' anything for sure, but are looking forward to the likely possibility that he will be there long enough to have the surgery. We hope that all works out and he won't be laid off and/or will be able to secure another position, if that is what is the bigger plan.
