Hi Pam,

I'll be glad when he actually does have the surgery ... I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. That said, I'm hopeful.

Whew!  What a huge relief, huh?!  I am just so glad for Ben...and for your family.  Best wishes on Ben's quest for a new job.  I hope he finds one speedily.  We are personally watching the GM crisis unfold with baited breath.  I'll be glad when everything is back on it's feet again!  {{{Hugs}}}

Hi Shauna,

I am glad that they signed his paperwork and I'll be even more happy when he's actually had the surgery... I'm hoping all will be well.

I know what you mean abou****ching the auto crisis unfolding with baited breath. Our son, Christopher has been with LandRover for more than a decade and as you know, anyone tied dto the automotive industry is on tenuous ground. We are all hoping and praying for the best.

Hi Ann,

While I don't think it's a sure thing, I do think it looks much more hopeful than it did last week. I'll be happy when it's all said and done and he is recovering smoothly.

Thanks for the well wishes,

That's great news Barb!  You'll have your own "long tall glass of milk" before long!  ROTFL  Best of luck on the job front also.

Welll.... maybe not so tall. Ben is 5'8" or 5'9", depending on who you talk to... LOL. When we were in our early 20's Ben slimmed down into the 150's ... actually, too thin for him, but at any rate, when he did that, the women came out of the woodwork. Ben didn't really know what to do with them and often didn't even realize when he was being hit on. I think I may get him a baseball bat as a post surgery gift because I'm pretty sure that he'll be needing one again. Guys seem to 'age' better than we do and I'll bet he'll start getting plenty of attention as the metamorphosis occurs.
