New Shoes

I am actually not a shoe kinda gal but when I do need shoes I have had to buy really ugly shoes to support my fallen arches and that are wide enough. My last pair of shoes were a size 8 1/2 and 4E width. I bought them about a year a 3/4 ago at at least 300 pounds or more. Yesterday I was able to buy a really good supportive shoe in a size 8 1/2 D width. Who knew my feet were so fat? I still can't get the really cute shoes but at least they are stylish for athletic shoes that I can wear with my jeans and they are a ladies shoe with pink trim. I wore them to work and my feet don't hurt as much today. Apparently shoes that get too big don't support the arches as well as shoes that fit properly.

You better wear those shoes tomorrow I wanna see em.

I have plantarfacitis (sp) have had to wear orthotic insoles I swear by them.
About two months ago Becky and I went to Walmart and I bought a pair of 10$ shoes.
I am still wearing them with my orthotics and have had no trouble.
In the past I always had to spend tons of money on good suporrtive shoes.
Now I am thrilled I can buy my shoes at Wal mart or Target and not have to spend a ton of money.

Oh I got the orthotics as well. But thats a good idea. Maybe I should go get a couple of pair at PSS and just use the orthotics in them. It is just so nice to be able to wear normal size shoes and a surprise.

I'll bet that you'll end up with 'little' feets when all is said and done. Congrats on your latest WOW moment.

I hope  you enjoy those cute little tennis shoes ... while they still fit.

I'll be wearing them tomorrow at the GC for the meet up.

I am going to be looking LOL I will probally wear my Walmart shoes.

It truly is amazing how small our feet get.   I had to get rid of all my old shoes and replace them all.   I am even wearing 3" heels...now that is the real shocker.   You are doing great!

I don't know if I will ever wear heels that high but its nice to know I could get some to fit isn't it?

Isn't it a pain that the best and most comfy shoes cost the most. It is worth it though when hte feet aren't barking as much at the end of the shift LOL!
