what does this mean?

My thing says i can have a pasta... what does that mean? what kinda pasta? and whats on it or what

Ummmm....I would wait on pasta!! I can't imagine that would be good for you this early out, because it's not good for you 8 months out!!! One thing, IF you are allowed to have pasta, you could try having a bite or 2 of couscous!! That is pretty yummy!!

Thanks!  on my paper it says pasta but thats all so i had no clue! my paper doesnt really tell me nuthing so its killing me

Amber - you have so many questions and the persons to be asking is your doctor's office.  Call them in the morning !  Don't eat pasta yet - Call your doctor's office... Again, I say, don't worry about calling them - it is what you paid them for when you had surgery - it comes with the package....

We have a weight loss center staff to answer questions rather than calling the doctor's office. 

Please don't assume what you read is okay for you without checking with your provider and their staff.

Amber, I have a friend that I work with that had Gastric Bypass in September and she eats pasta.. She eats the Lean Cuisine Chicken Fetticini dinners a lot. So, I guess it depends on your surgeon.. I know a lot of surgeons say no pasta, like mine. But if yours says pasta, maybe that would be a good one to try.. She eats just about half of it she says with no problrems.

I am over one year out and I have tried pasta but my pouch does not like it so I avoid it 100%.
I have tried like one or two pieces of macaroni and the pouch says no way no how.
It really is trial and error so you may do fine with it.
I avoid rice too.
