Blood test results question

Did it go away? Or did you have to do anything? I am just a little concerned since I have to go back on cholesterol meds.
I also have blood in my urine. With all the fluids I am drinking how is that?

with God all things are possible.
I was diagnosed with a fatty liver during my last tests for my gallbladder last winter. Here's a really good webpage for you that talks about it: http://www.liverfoundation.org/education/info/fattyliver/ I hadn't read back through it until now so I'm hoping my rapid weight loss with this surgery doesn't send it over the edge, but reverses it instead! I did tell my surgeon that I was diagnosed with the condition.
About the blood in the urine, did they diagnose you with an infection? Do you have kidney stones? Those are the first things that come to my mind.
I'd definitely contact your dr.'s office about all of your questions! :)

My surgeon said elevated liver enzymes post-WLS is normal - the liver processes everything in your body so all that weight you are losing is going thru there before it moves on it. It may also be related to fatty liver - most obese people have a fatty liver (I did, mine however was not enlarged)... I would check your pre-op versus post-op... it takes a while for the liver to calm down so your surgeon should have just said they were going to keep an eye on it... typically the only time they worry is if it continues to stay elevated over periods of time (pre-op they checked mine 90days to 6 months) or gets higher. It has taken a long time for my levels to drop - one is normal and the other is slowly getting there and I am over 2 years out! I think somebody already mentioned but I heard gall bladder issues can cause the liver to be high - I just had mine out in Jan so I will be interested in my bloodwork I will have in a few months to see if I get a dramatic improvement!
