How's your pre op diet going?

ROTFL!!!  He told on me, didn't he?! 

Well, day one went fine.  Hunger hit around lunchtime and I had it all afternoon, but I made it through surprisingly easily.  Day two I woke with an awful headache.  Since I'm a comfort eater, that made yesterday afternoon a little more miserable regarding not eating, but I made it through just fine.  Took Tylenol PM at 7 p.m. last night and drifted off at around 8:30...it was so good to escape the pain.  Today I woke with the headache again, day 3, and took a Tramadol, which has barely taken the edge off.  If I could get rid of this darn headache, I think I'd be just fine.  The hunger hasn't anything I can't handle okay and that's been nice because I was worried about it!  :)  I started at 285.4 on Tuesday and the scale said 280.0 today.  It would be nice to lose 10-15 pounds on this!

I do have to say that I thought I'd be wanting to keep busy with little projects around the house, and I'm disappointed in myself that I just don't want to move.  Hubby was telling me last night to let myself off the hook and just get through this...not to expect anything from myself other than to stick with the eating plan.  He's such a gem.  I'm going to use the gift card he gave me for a pedicure this weekend.  I knew I'd be needing some pampering and I was right!

I do believe Trouble was to blame for me not getting to sleep until an hour and a half after I took my Tylenol PM.    Uhuh. 

(Glad to see you made it home safe.  I'm still cracking up about how my heart flip-flopped when you said you were driving behind that home-made tornado tracker thingie.  "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!")

I have changed my middle name to "trouble" seems to fit!
 

For those of you that are wondering what in the world are we talking about- Well, on my way home from my support group meeting last night- I passed a 1980's style Pacer that was painted 1/2 blue and the rest was rustoleum.

Dressing the top of this Pacer was a bunch of weather vanes, and cords, and spinny things and flashy things. The back had press on letters that said "STORM TRACKER"

Well Shauna had the good fortune of being on the phone with me when I passed this "Car" HAHAHA, this was the most ridiculous thing I MAY have ever seen!!

(Harnett County anyone??)

I'm glad to hear you're able to stick with it, but sorry to hear you have a headache.  Are you sure it's not allergies of any sort? 

Your husband didn't exactly tell on you... actually, there's a huge, flashing billboard, brilliantly lit,  on I-40 that says,

'SHAUNA HAS BEEN LICKING AND NIBBLING HER HUSBAND'S TOES"

Oh -- My -- Word!!!    What am i going to do with the two of you??? 



Yes, I am definitely battling allergies and am taking Claritin daily.  This headache is my typical fuzzy miserable one that I get everytime I do an extreme low-carb diet and/or liquid fasts.  My brain no likie those. 

Have you heard of that totally ridicilous product called 'Head-On'? I actually got tired of those commercials so I got a tube of it and I think it actually does help for headaches. Crazy huh? Maybe it will help. You definitely can't OD on it because you don't ingest it. No calories either LOL! You are going to get through this I promise.

Ann, I could kiss ya.  If my headache isn't better by later this afternoon, I am sooo stopping to get some of that stuff.  The commercials are irritating as heck, but if it works, who am I to complain?!  Thanks bunches for the suggestion.  I just took Tramadol #2 and am heading down for another protein shake.  I CAN & WILL GET THROUGH THIS!!!
