Monika had her surgery..

There are some who know Monika from the Raleigh get togethers.  She's the lady always sitting with me in the corner.

She had her surgery this morning at Nash.  She's out and doing as well as can be expected for having her guts rearranged.  I'm caring for one of her kiddos, and we stayed long enough for the kiddo to see her mama was fine.  We'll go back up later this afternoon and spend more quality time when she's not doped up all to heck.

In any case, she's still planning on coming on Saturday -- she's *that* interested in my vitamin presentation!

Andrea,  I left Monika a message on her surgery support page this morning since I saw that her surgery was today.  (Love the "upcoming surgeries" link!)  Please give her our love and tell her we hope she has a smooth road to recovery and successful weight loss.  You'll be a good surrogate mama for her little one in the meantime.  Good luck with your vitamin presentation.  You ought to have it recorded and put it on YouTube for us all to see!
