Barbara Im so sorry to hear that he lost his job!! I will be praying that he does find something fast and he can still have his surgery!

Thanks Amanda... He hasn't lost it yet, but found out that it's going to happen. We'll hope for the best and work to make this best of the cir****tance as possible.

Hi Barb,

Please give Ben our best, and a big hug, too. Have him check out my old company at www.rti.org. I just checked their website and they have several IT openings, including a programmer/analyst and some database admin positions, among others. I left the company last Jan. after 10 years, so I don't necessarily have an "in" anymore, but it's a good company, stable. And honestly, I sometimes wish I hadn't given up that stability. It's really scary working for a small biotech in these times, I gotta tell ya (although I couldn't pass up my dream job that took me 4 years to land).

And we are praying for your whole family here as well. Much love and hugs.

Thanks for the heads up... I'm having Ben network through LinkedIn.com and have him check out rti... I know what you mean about the excitement and uneasiness that comes from working with a start up... In a previous life I was a technical writer, then a project manager... It seems like a lifetime ago.

I am so sorry you got such bad news. I wish I could do something more for you, but I will keep your husband in prayers that this leads to something even bigger and better (not to mention hoping that it doesn't happen until he has had time to find a new job and perhaps even get to have his surgery).
