Bad News! Ben just found out he's losing his job

Hi Lisa,

Thanks so much for your support and friendship. I would say that I appreciate it more than you know, but I know that you do know. Thank you for thinking of Sarah. A part of me thought about not saying anything to her until we 'knew' what was happening and had a solution, but that just isn't how we have ever done things, so I let her know and she cried because of her fear and frustration. My heart is heavy because of her burden.

I'm trying to stay positive. We have Ben's resume and are almost done getting it updated. We'll be shooting out emails to all of our friends, family and acquantainces to let them know what is happening and to see if there might be a ray of sunlight hiding behind the clouds.

Barbara, I am sorry to hear about Ben loosing his job. I have heard that O'reily automotive is opening a hub some where between Greensboro and Burlington. I am not sure when or if they would have anything for him, just a thought. Good luck and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your concern and your thoughtfulness. Ben is a technical writer. He writes hardware, software and business process documentation. He works for the IT department of a major parts distributor headquartered in the triangle. He most likely will end up working for a high tech company or for an IT department of a company in another business sector.
