"My Sister's Closet" - A great find in Greenville!

I read a lot about you guys shopping at Goodwill in the Raleigh area, but our Goodwill here in Greenville has been very disappointing the times I've been there.  BUT, I did find My Sister's Closet on 10th street in Greenville, near Hastings Ford.  They are sort of like Goodwill but only for clothes, shoes, etc and the $$ goes to Domestic Violence victims. 

I stopped by there on Friday and found 2 great jackets and a red Talbot's dress.  All three items only cost me $17 with tax!  I did stop them off at the cleaners since I'm not sure when they were cleaned last but it's still a great deal! 

If you live or visit Greenville, check it out!  All the items are priced very reasonably. 

Oh, and yesterday I bought my first single digit, a size 8 pants suit!  Unbelieveable!!!!

Alice, I just cannot wait to hunt down all the thrift stores in our area once the weight begins to fall off!  I used to own a really nice children's resale store myself about 14 years ago.  It was one of my favorite things I've ever done...I actually miss it!  Anyway, it's been ages since I have done much second-hand shopping and now I am going to have the perfect excuse.  I'll have to remember this place if ever in Greenville.  What awesome deals you came away with...and the size 8 pantsuit?!  ENJOY!!!

Hmmmm.... Maybe the next time we come down for a get in Feb or so, I'll have to see about making a run over there. Do they have men's clothes too, or is just ladies stuff? We'll be looking for new duds for Ben the next time we are able to join a Greenville group ;)

I'm always up for shoppin trip that has bargains involved. Thanks for the head's up.

BTW ... Isn't it just amazing to wear single digits? I would never have imagined it for myself.

Hey Barb, I certainly thought of you when I was there on Friday...  They only carry women's clothes now.  It's not a huge space so they probably have to keep it limited.  I was so excited about the REd Talbots dress that will be great for the holidays.  Still can't believe I got it for $6!

I would NEVER have thought I'd ever be in single digits...  I'm still wearing mostly 10s but that's ok too... I'm comfortable where I am, but it was still a great feeling to see that 8!
