my first WOW moment

Friday night my husband & I were doing some Christmas shopping and I was looking at some of the clothes.  We are going to NYC for Thanksgiving and I need a dress to wear because my grandinlaw is taking us girls to High Tea at the Plaza Hotel!! So anyways, there was this dress, cute but not something I would normally wear and I thought what the heck, I will try it on.  Well I was able to fit into a 20/22 dress!! Now for some of you that would be a bad thing but for me I can't tell you the last time I could fit into a 20/22!!  I was so excited, so when I got home I got on the scale and I am down 29 pounds!! It has not even been 7 weeks!  I did not buy the dress, much to my husbands disappointment.  It did not have sleeves and I have issues showing my arms.  I was just happy I could fit into it.  Anyways, thanks for listening.

I know it's scary to show arms.  Maybe a cute sweater or wrap would help?  Then again, Thanksgiving in NYC, you might need the sleeves anyway!  :)  Brrr!

High tea at the Plaza sounds so Oooo La La!  I'm jealous!  You'll have to let us know what it was like!

I know right, trust me it will be my first time for high tea anywhere!  Hopefully I will know how to act.

Amanda this is wonderful just keep up the good work.  It is so much fun to shop when you can fit into the clothes you like.  Just think by Thanksgiving you will be down a few more pounds and will look even more stunning!!!!!!

 wait until your hubby loses you in a big store only to realize he is following you around to start with. My DW had wls two years ago and I was very used to her plump little self going to and fro in walmart. Now I see her every day but for some reason I wound up looking for her about six months out one day and was actually following her up the aisle when she turned and I realized boy I was a lucky fellow and she was lookin good. Have fun at the high tea. As long as the Queen Mother does not show up I think you will do fine. Enjoy.
