Amber,
I'm sorry you had a rough night. Chalk it up to a learning experience.
In regards to your stall, don't panic, it's perfectly normal. My first thought when you said you were in a stall was Drink more water! :) The I read the rest of your message. I agree with your Dr...drink more water! I know it seems odd, but it really makes a huge difference. Drinking more water can often be enough to break a stall. All WLS patients need to pay attention to fluid intake when things are good. But you're dealing with a kidney infection, you need even more! Give it a try. Drink, drink, drink!!! Water, crystal light, jello, anything that helps you get more fluids is your friend.

there will be most likely other things that dont work that well in the food department. The only thing is you wont know it until you get that sample except for maybe common things that people have dumping problems with. For me it was sausage.. I love that stuff but it does not love me at all. Maybe it would be a good plan and this is just a suggestion to do solids without much spice until you get used to the textures of them and see how they sit on the pouch. It wont be long till you will be able to add some flavor into the mix. I did alot of grilled stuff but only recently started to get it blackened. Even that way the spicy stuff goes down alot slower for some reason. Then you get a hot mouth and cant drink to kill the heat.. Good luck on getting on the solids.. Keep the faith.
Drink more water... The cardinal rules early on are sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk.
Your stall is normal and will pass soon. Just stay on program.
Hang in there sweetie,
