I'm in love with my new MacBook!
Poor DH has been without his laptop for 5 months (it totally died) and mine has been headed the same way. We had typical PC laptops and I kept getting the dreaded "blue screen of death."
We kept saying once we sold our old house in FL we'd finally get some new reliable computers. Well, the house closed on Monday and today we both got new MacBooks! :) I am totally in love. This thing is so user friendly, it's unbelieveable! Tonight we're both just playing around with them, tomorrow I'll start transferring my data over before my old computer does a total dive and takes all of my pictures with it! :)
Any other Mac people out there with a feature that I just have to know about?

My last laptop was a Dell, and I truly don't have any complaints about it. It was a well-made computer, it was just very old. ;) Once you have a laptop though, it's nearly impossible to go back to a desktop. "What do you mean I can't sit on the couch and surf? I have to sit at a table? Ugh!" :) Yes, life is so hard.
While I now have an HP, I've been dodging the dreaded bluescreen myself and this one is only a few months old :/ ugh!!!
I used to work for Apple and have loved their products for years. I know I'm somewhat prejudiced, but I really do think that they are superior, but Mr. Gates played chess much better than Mr. Jobs.
Enjoy your new toys!

Only a few months old! Ugh is right!
We used Apples at work years ago, and then the company went strictly to PCs...many people went kicking and screaming. I do think they make a superior product (obviously since I bought one,) but it's a catch 22 if you have to work very closely with PCs. Most programs are compatible, but not all. You're right...Mr. Gates was a very smart man and just about created a monopoly with Microsoft. Apple seems to have done what was necessary to come back. I think this will work fine for us...we'll see! :)

My wife and I both have Imacs and Itouches. I will most likely never buy another windows based computer again. I found out in a couple of weeks Apples are alot easier to use than windows ever thought it was. I hope yall enjoy your Macbooks. My son has one as well as my brother in law and they love them.
