On Tuesday I was at my PCP and my blood pressure was 120/79. I am still taking 3 meds in two pills for my bp. I have been getting very light headed when I stand up, today has been worse. I went and check my bp at the drug store and it was 98/71 is that too low, should I call my pcp on call? Also could it be I am dehydrated? I am still having a hard time getting my water in? Thanks for any help.

Jeff - yes call the doc.... maybe you can stop one med or maybe even two... certainly being dehydrated can cause dizziness, too.  But the first thing that they will look at is your blood pressure meds...

Good luck !

PS - I do not recommend that you stop any of your meds before talking to the doc....

I stopped taking mine (per doc's orders) the day after surgery.  I'm pretty sure you need to come off of at least one of them.  Call your Doc, asap.

Good luck brother.

My bp has been 100/50 since my surgery and my doctor said it comes with the surgery. Idk I get light headed all the time. I have since day one. And I drink plenty of water. Just my 2 cents.Good luck.

I did call the doctor on call and she told me not to take any of my bp meds today and to take half of one Monday and to call on Monday to get a new script for a 5 mg on the other, its a capsule so it can't be split.
