Hmmm.  Guess that is truly good news.  Let us know what the doctor's office says.

I'm glad to hear that it went well. Do they have a plan/program to be sure that you are getting in enough fluids and/protien?

I guess that's good news.  At least there's nothing physically wrong down there.  Good luck on resolving the issue.

Hi Jeff,
I am glad your pouch is ok.
Your doc will probally give you a perscription for The Purple pill used for reflux.
Cant remember the name of it.

Jeff for the first couple of months i took prevacid and it worked really well. I stopped it just to see if it would make a difference after two months and so far I have only noticed some twinges in the pouch during a meal. I find that i am more sensitive to the filling sensation of food that with the prevacid but did not experience any acid reflux. Sometimes I joke around that my stoma must say LODGE in raised letters of cast iron. I think you will get some relief with a nexium or prevacid type prescription. I took some otc stuff prior to the surgery and got a good bit of relief from that nagging feeling of way too much food in the stomach but prior to a few months earlier had never taken a thing. I suppose its going to depend on you as an individual on what works out. I know its alot of trial and error and that has to be a pain in the rear but when you find things that work stick with them.

Hey Jeff,
I'm glad you didn't have a stricture or anything more serious, keep me updated.

Thank you all for your responcs. I was giving my surgeon time to call this afternoon and while I was waiting I feel asleep (I seem to be doing that a lot still)  I did not wake up until after six and they were closed.
