Pre-op appts out of the way

This has been such a busy week.  Tuesday was cardiology, Wednesday was ultrasound and endo, and today was stress test.  Cardio thought I needed a stress test because of diabetes and overweight.  HMMMM??  I met Dr. Mann yesterday.  Nice!!!!!  I will need to meet with him and then I guess send stuff to insurance.  Yeah!!!!!  Going along nicely

Great news on getting your pre-op appointments out of the way.  Sometimes getting through those can take forever.  I work with one of Dr. Mann's patients!  She seems to be very pleased with him, plus being part of Southern Surgical, he's got to be good.  You're in good hands.

glad you are pleased with your doc... and now the tests are out of the way, so make the path clear for your surgery !  have you already done the psych evals and have your PCP records at the surgeon's???

Thanks Jason and Shelia.  Always nice to hear a good report from a surgeon!!!!!  I have done the psych eval and I have one more next week.  (forgot about that)  My PCP records are at the surgeons.  It's gone by pretty fast.  I just hope that the stress test came out OK today.  I can't imagine it not being OK.  I would love to have the surgery before the year is over with!!!!  Thanks for the support!!!!

Deborah,  You HAVE had a busy week, haven't you?!  Wowza.  Glad you enjoyed meeting Dr. Mann and that things are going along so well for you.  I'm sincerely hoping you received a 2008 surgery date very soon!

I do feel just like a pin cushion.  I'm sure I still have more blood work before it's all over.  I can say I'm used to it now.  I was really worried about the endoscopy, but that was easy.  The medicine was WooHoo!!!!!  Thanks for the encouragement.

Good for you, Deborah!  It's great to get a bunch of stuff checked off the list of "hoops to jump through", isn't it???  Glad everything went well, and I loved those endoscopy meds, too! LOL!  Good luck as you await your ins. approval!  We'll all be pulling for ya!
