is it true? medicad and age question...

I just read on the RYN site that if you have Medicad then you have to be older than 25 but younger than 55. Just wondering if any of you know if theres any truth to this? I know each State is different so thats why I came to the NC board... I'm not worried about this for myself because I will be 26 when I have my surgery. But my friend is doing this with me and she will only be 24 surgery time. So please help!!!! thanks alot!

Do You know about Medicare?? I have Medicare and also, a Supplement Plan C thr RESERVE NATIONAL... Will the supplement insurance pay the 20% that Medicare doesn'tpay for surgery??? Im afraid to ask Reserve Nationa cause, i was dnied insurance by 4 companies eofre I got approved by reserve... So, You seem very knowledgeable and thought I would ask You. Any help you can give will be VERY helpful-

I'm afraid that I can't answer your question. You might try posting it to the Insurance Forum on the Main Forum to see if you can find someone there that has specific knowledge. If I were you, I would absolutely contact Reserve National and ask them what and how much they will pay. They can and should be able to tell you that and it should not in any way impact your approval status.
