Thanks Shelia! I hope BCBSNC will move quickly. I haven't seen any of my husband's family since last Christmas what a great thing it would be to stroll into the Christmas party this year 180 lbs lighter with a flat stomach and not bent over in pain! Maybe I would turn some heads!

Well just so you know next month they are doing a clothes exchange and whatever you bring put it on hangers, also they want everybody to bring a weight loss friendly appetizer and I think she was going to get the hospital to provide shrimp or something. Hope to see you there!

Thanks for letting me know. I have a pile of clothes in the floor at the foot of my bed I just took out of my closet.As for a weight loss friendly app that may be a challenge. I'll have to work on that.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

Thanks Shelli.I hope it wont come to an appeal also.But I know that I have a good reason to get it done. The hernia is huge. It also constricts my coughing ability when I have a cold. The doctor said also with it hurting now that they should approve it. Thanks again
