Update on my Dad
Well yesterday, my dad did awesome and was very alert and even talking. They did a swallow test on him and he had no problems. Apparently, that was the calm before the storm. This morning when my mom and sis got to the hospital, he had gone down hill and gone down fast. After discussing as a family and with the doc, we decided not to put him back on he respirator and he was transferred to Hospice at 8 pm. I got the call at 11 and was able to get a flight and be in MI by 6 and to the hospital. I am spending the night here tonight. Please say a prayer for a speedy journey tfor him o our Lord's arms. I love you all.
Pam

I am so glad you were able to get there... Take the time you need with your family - it sure beats siiting in NC and not knowing what is going on in MI. And most certainly our prayers are with you and your Dad.
We love you, too.

Oh Pam, my prayers are with you and your family. I know how you are feeling.
I went through the same thing with my Daddy in May. My Sis and I arrived 2 days before he passed. I think he was waiting for us. At first we were praying that he could come home, and then we were praying that he would 'go home'.
