Accountability...

There are posts on the main forum and the RNY Board that are focused on everyones daily intake. I've participated in those from time to time but I think it's time we do one here as well. We spend a lot of time together around here and I think we are better qualified to hold one another accountable.

When reading the posts - keep in mind that not every WLS program is the same and that nutritional requirements can and do differ. So in a leap of good faith - I'll start.

Breakfast: Click espresso
AM Snack: Almonds
Lunch: 15 Bean Soup
PM Snack: SlimFast High Protein Peanut Granola Bar (YUMMY!!!)
Dinner: Chicken Pot Pie

Total of 60 grams of protein.
Water: 64+ ounces
Vitamins: Yep - 4 Optisource
Exercise: 30 Minutes walking at 3 mph  & 30 countertop push-ups

I've not been tracking my protein as closely as I needed to - nor have I been drinking as much water as I think I need to. So getting this in today has been a great thing.

Come on - join in. - Iris

Pssssst....

You know that optisource has calcium carbonate in it.. and it's not bioavailable to RNY patients, yes?

As for accountability, I'd be happy to join in.  Do you want to do the previous day's or the current day?  As in, if I were to post right now at 10:40 PM on Tuesday, would I be posting Monday, or what I've had so far on Tuesday?

I hear ya on the Optisource - but for right now it's what the Doc pushes (the Bariatric Formula). I'll be asking you more questions on calcium (SOON).

As far as what day's eating - for me I'll be posting after dinner time so I'll be posting for that day. Once I have dinner - my kitchen is officially closed.

I'll be happy to join in once I am post-op, Iris.  Love the idea, as the matter of fact!

Shauna - you're welcome to post now if you think it would help. I know getting on a schedule for getting in vitamons, water etc. it was helpful for me to make the adjustments.
