batwing arms

I got out of the shower this morning and I noticed that I had batwings already.  I can't decide to be happy or sad...maybe sad for my arms and happy for me.

this is just a little bit of my on take on Batwings. My wife has them but I have her without all her problems. I will most likely not have really bad ones but now that Im out three months my energy level is way out there as well as my exercise habits. In time you will notice the opportunity to do things that will most likely give you a better physical condition and it might be just the ticket to take the time to do things you ordinarily would not have. In time as it presents itself do what you feel is the right thing for you and I feel its better to have less or maybe a little bit of skin extra than the alternative.

Hi Tracy - I know exactly what you mean about the batwings.  I'm not finished on my weight loss journey yet, but magically the batwings have appeared already.  I guess I just kind of thought they'd appear when I reached my magic weight.  silly me.  I don't know if I'll ever do the plastic surgery for this, but it is definitely more of a priority than I thought it would be.  There are just other things that will have to come first.  Take care and also congratulations on your great success!

Thanks Push and Rhonda for your comments.  I agree that I would rather have saggy arms than the alternative and I decided that I need to start a structured exercise routine now.  I think, as Rhonda stated, I was expecting this a little later. :)  Good luck to both of you.

While you cannot exercise away excess skin toning your arms will help the appearance greatly - I suggest getting 3lb, 5lb weights and looking up some arm exercises and get going :-) No miracles, but definately improvements!

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

Extended TT, lipo, fat injections - 11/2011

BA/BL/Arm Lift - 7/2014

Scar revision on arms - 3/2015

HALO laser on arms/neck 9/2016

Thigh Lift 10/2020

Thigh Lift revision 10/2021
