Surgery tomorrow at Durham Regional
Mary, first congrats on getting to the BIG DAY! Relax, it's totally normal to be scared about having surgery, but when i had mine, I was totally at peace with my decision. I just knew it was the beginning of a new life and it certainly has been. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
I'll send up prayers on your behalf tomorrow! See you on the losers bench tomorrow!!!!

Hi Mary,
Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. I can remember the sense of excitement, bundled with nerves. Know that you are in very competent, experienced hands and that the statistics are overwhelmingly in your favor for an excellent outcome.
As soon as you can after surgery, get up and walk. Walk as much as you can. Walk, walk, walk, and sip, sip, sip...
Know that it gets easier day-by-day and week-by-week.
Wishing you all the best,
Barb
