Cold meds???
I'm sorry you're not feeling well! When I was about as far PO as you are I got a cold and all I could take was liquid dayquil and nyquil... If you don't want to take that maybe your doc can give you a perscription for something liquid. I hope you feel better soon!

Well, the muscinex I saw was all time-release, and the pharmacist just stared at me in quiet wonder when I asked if it needed Intrinsic Factor in order to work or not.
So instead, I found a CVS version that worked *very* well on my bronchitis (chronic, don't ask).
Chest Congestion Relief DM
400mg Guaifenesin (expectorant)
20mg Dextromethorphan (suppressant)
Take 1 every 4 hours. Pill is about the size of a tylenol caplet. You *can* break it if you need to (as it's not time-release).
Normally my bronchitis takes about 2 weeks of medication to clear -- I was out of it in 4 or 5 days.
Or if you want liquid, get a huge bottle of Robitussin DM. Take 400mgs of Guiafenesin every 4 hours.
