OK Yawl!!! Pictures can do such injustice!!!

We took pictures at my parent's 60Th Wedding anniversary yesterday!!! I thought I was looking pretty good and then I see the pictures!!! Yuck!!!! I can use these as my before pictures. I definitely remember looking in the mirror before I left, but somehow the image is not the same as I remember in the photo!!! WHY!!!! I look at the before and after pictures of you guys and they still amaze me. Just looking forward to slimmer.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

It gets better, really. It's hard to imagine, but you will treasure your photos, the good, the bad, and the ugly. As my tagline says, own it all, it's yours.

Oh man, I am so with you on that note. As a former model, seeing my weight issue in photos has been hard...and I am telling you...gut-wrenchingly HARD!!! I still do not recognize myself in mirrors, photos, or anything even after all this time being on this side of the fence. Cannot wait for those images to match the one in my head and to feel okay about them. We'll have killer before and afters soon Deborah!

I hope so. I've asked my husband to take some before pictures. I really want to keep a journal of my progress. Thank you all for responding. I always appreciate the information and insite from you guys.
