Just wanted to let my local WLS friends know that I'm leaving for Miami Beach tomorrow morning, to have my DS! Wish me luck, an easy recovery, and a body that will rock a bikini by next summer!

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

Yeah, my parents live in Florida, so that's part of why I chose Dr. Gagner, so I can stay with them after I leave the hospital. (I'm self-pay, so the choices were endless!)

Laura, if I am home by then, I'll be there, but I think I'll still be in Fla til about the 14th. Any chance you all want to put it off for a few days?

I'm so excited. I just got a "sign" that I'm supposed to have the DS: I got a rip in my favorite FAT PANTS!
