I feel pretty good considering I just had major surgery.  I wrote about it in my bio, forgive my typos, I'm still high on pain  meds.

Hi Sam,

I'm sorry that you had a rough and scary start, but I'm glad you are well, home and resting. Keep walking and sipping.

Welcome to the loser's bench!

Im so sorry that you had a bad experience at the hospital.  Hopefully they will tell the administration and they can handle it.  I pray for you to have a speedy recovery!!  And welcome to the losers bench!

Band to DS

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

All she has to do is ask.  I'm at her beck and call.

I'm sorry about what you had to go through. Most everyone I've talked to that had their surgery done at Durham Regional has the same complaints. Patients really need to have a family member or friend advocate for them during their stay. Wishing you a speedy recovery....
