OT: Flue Shot
I had my flu and pneumonia shot Monday. By Friday I was sick, sick, sick. Could not stay out of bathroom. Could not keep anything on my stomach, not even water. Was able to get a bit down today. Ache all over. Never have been sick from shots before but this one seems to have kicked my butt. Trying to drink all I can but it is hard. Will catch up with you all later.

I'm sorry you got sick, unfortunately you probably had a bit of the bug before you got your shots... ugh! I got my flu shot last Thursday and my arm hurt all week! I have a sinus infection now but I don't think it's related.
Anyway, I hope you're feeling better soon and can keep something down. There is nothing more miserable than getting sick - ugh!

I had my flu shot this past Thursday and haven't had any problems at all. In fact, I forgot I'd had the shot until I read your post. I'm so sorry you're having problems. This time of year my allergies kick up a fit and that's the only problem I'm having right now. I need to renew my perscription for my Rhinocort nasal spray. Just taking Claritin and Benedryl doesn't do enough.

Hello everyone, I have since found out that there is a nasty stomach bug going around down here. Guess I got it! A couple of my SIL's friends have been hospitalized for it. I guess I was lucky. I am feeling much better today and just have a few hot and cold spells. Sure beats 101 fever and chills. Thanks for all your relpies and concern. I have the flu shot every year because of my DH's heart condition. Dr say he probably could not survive a sever bout of flu.
