Lucky has gone to the bridge

Lucky left this earth today surrounded by friends and family.
I made a promise to him that I will continue to get healthier and will keep walking everyday.
I feel somewhat relived knowing he is at peace.

Been watching from afar, but totally relate to losing a trusted companion.
My condolences and best wishes for continued progress without Lucky..even though that doesn't seem possible.
The loss of a pet is something that has always striked close to home with me.
There isn't much we can count on in this world but that is ONE thing we could.

Annie, I am so sorry for your loss.  I know Lucky will live on in your heart and I hope that will help you to keep your promise to him.

You and Lee gave Lucky a great life after you rescued him. He passed knowing you and Lee cared for him very much and that he had a loving home to spend his days in. What more could a dog want out of life. You guys gave him that as you are the others still living with you now. He is at peace because of this. I know you will miss him and I am glad you promised him to keep taking care of you and getting more and more fit every day.

Annie,  Lucky was indeed lucky, knowing he was loved so dearly.  He understood what you were telling him, which made his heart glad.  All our pets, our friends, want is our love and happiness.  I hope you are at peace over this soon.  {{{Hugs}}} and condolences.
