We have snow...on the ground...on the trees...wow. Was just wondering how many of us got this little preview of winter?!

No snow but there was a *brief* period of sleet in the triangle and surrounding areas yesterday afternoon...I couldn't believe what I was seeing!

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

OMG I was shocked to see this mixture come from the sky last night. It turned into a rain event thankfully but if this is any indication of what this winter will look like - Oh MY we're in trouble.

I'm going to freeze to death this winter seeing how I've been freezing for the past month.

Wow! I'm wondering if we'll get some in the triangle this year. We had some sleet yesterday when I ran to the grocery store.

Hopefully, you'll be tucked in nice and warm today and/or it won't be enough to cause any traffic messes.

OK, where are you? I'm guessing near the mountains... We had just rain yesterday but I've heard (as also confirmed on here) there was sleet a bit WEST and NORTH of here yesterday-- amazing that it's coming in October!

I do hope we get a snow storm this year--if just enough to be pretty. We haven't had any around here in years! Take pictures and enjoy it! :)

Yes, the mountains of NC! Believe it or not, we've not gotten much snow here since we came in 2002. It was quite the shock this morning...hubby says this happened 3 years ago, but I don't remember it!

No snow here, of course we are only about 35 miles from the beach so it is a rarity to see here. I can tell I am going to freese also. I am losing my insulation!!!! Oh well, I can always put more clothes on. It is in summer when I get worried, I can only take so many off before they want to arrest me!!!! So losing the insulation is a good thing this close to the beach!

Yep! What Jaff said. No snow but really cold. I don't want to get into the shower and get dressed. I just want to stay snuggled all day in my flannel jammies and robe. But I do have to go outside for a while. Oh Well!
