Well, I found out I am approved! The Drs office called last Wed and I was scheduled for surgery on November 12th, pending insurance approval. I didn't want to post until I got the word from BCBS. I was at the Drs office for my physical and history appointment today and they were looking at my info in the computer and the nurse said...you've been approved. She found the letter in my chart and even made a copy for me. So, I am announcing it officially...I am having RNY on Wednesday, November 12th! WooHoo!

Thanks ladies! I start my two weeks on Optifast on Wednesday...the only question is, what should I have for dinner tomorrow night?

whatever it is, make sure you have enough of it. i find that being a month out i dont miss the taste of foods so much as i miss the quantitiy... and i know that sounds so messed up, but i was raised to be a "good eater"... you know what i mean? if you don't... you will soon :)
