First Raliegh Area Grads Group Get Together this Thurs!

I've posted on NC WLS http://wls.meetup.com/101 to see if there might be interest in a Grads Group and I'm delighted that I got a number of responses indicating a desire for a Grads Group Get Together. The focus of this Get Together will be the to provide support for those who are over 1 year post-op.

We'll have our first meeting this coming Thursday evening at Applebee's at Brier Creek which is easily accessible from Highways 70, 540, 440 and 40. They have a friendly and accessible menu that I hope will meet the needs of everyone.

Since the focus of discussions at this sub-group will be centered around issues for people who have gone through the insurance process and the issues surrounding the initial rapid weight loss, it is generally meant for people that are at least one year post op. As with all NC WLS Meetings, all members are welcome, so if you live near enough and feel that you would benefit from the discussions that surround the issues of WLS Grads, please do not hesitate to join us.

I decided to post here because there may be people interested that don't yet belong to the meetup group. This will hopefully be the first of many Grads Group Get Togethers.
