Called doctor
who is on call for Dr. Miles and he kept acting like its very unlikely of getting a pill stuck at almost a month out and I'm like I've been having this trouble for a week now but this today is the worst, so he tells me to try and eat a little piece of light bread and if anything is stuck it will go on down. Told me if that doesn't help to go to the hospital and let them take x-rays but he was pretty sure that nothing was closed and he just came saying at a month out. All I know I'm still in pain at 5 hrs later and I tried sipping some broth and it came right back up. My sugar is down to 82 which is good but its because I took insulin this morning and have had nothing to eat. I really don't want to go to the ER and have to wait for hours like I always do if this isn't nothing to worry about. Any thoughts?

Cindy,
If you can get fluids in and keep them down, okay, but if you can't, you probably need to go to the hospital. Dehydration is nothing to mess around with. If you are able to get and keep fluids down, then revert back to protien shakes that are not thick and only take your pills mashed up until you can get stuff down and/or see your dr. Please understand that this is not medical advice and I strongly urge you to seek and follow whatever medical advice available.
