Sorry I send the wrong update

I am sorry I haven't been around to give an update but for those of you that's been reading my post, I did go to the doctor and back in the hospital I went. I was very dehydrated and malnutrition. I had actually been starving myself for several days without even knowing it. When i came home after my surgery I misunderstand what my intake should be and so I was only taking in about an ounce of protein and thought it was two ounces and then I thought the doctor wanted me to only drink water and Isopure in the 20 oz bottle. I was getting no nutrition. So the doctor put me back in the hospital did alot of test to rule out serious complications and gave me lots of vitamins and fluids. I got to come home today and I feel great. I will say for all the newbies to this surgery, when you think you know all there is to know you don't, always ask questions and let people whose been there, like so many of you thats been helping me, give advice and share there own experiences. Anyways here I go again, this time I'm not going to starve myself. Thanks to everyone that has helped me.

Hi Jenny,

I'm sorry that you had such a rough start, but I'm glad you are on the mend and back home again. Be sure to sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk.

Wishing you all the best,

Always ask questions and never feel embarrased by questions.
Glad you are feeling better.

Band to DS
on 10/25/08 11:07 am, edited 2/1/12 11:54 pm
Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
