Hello my NC Lovely's
I am just so thrilled with my success with my surgery so far and the person that I have become since March 2008. Words honestly cannot explain how much this surgery has changed my life in such a short time!! Well anyways, I have been thinking a little bit and cannot even believe that a New year is almost upon us...with that being said, I have come up with a personal goal for January 1st, 2009.... I weigh, as of today 227lbs. My goal is to be 199 lbs. January 1st!!!!

That would be the best thing EVERRRR!!! lol

Anyways, I would like everyone to share a personal goal that they would like to achieve come January 1st 2009!!!

Even you lurkers...YES WE KNOW YOU ARE OUT THERE...lol Reading this right now!!! Come post and tell us your goal for the new year!!!

Much love ~ Jami

Hey Jamie

My goal would be just to have the surgery.  I'm shooting for a date around the 1st of December.  If I have the surgery, my next goal would be for me to be 20 pounds less by Jan. 1 and to reach goal by Dec. 1 2009.  I would be down 110 lbs.   YEAH!!!!!!

That's 10 weeks from today....hmmmmm......I'd love to fit in a loose size 18 by then. Numbers wise I'd be approaching the 2teens at the current rate I'm losing. I'd also like to set an exercise goal but I'll have to give that one some more thought.

Thanks for the post - it's really got me thinking.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

By January 1st, 2009, my goal is to have recovered from the surgery and be mastering my new life (supplements, way of eating, etc.).  As for a weight-loss goal, I am hoping to be at least below my lowest weight that I've seen in over 10 years...below 259!

Well I'm at 260 and would like to be down to at least 230 by then and want to be able to eat without getting sick and having pain in my pouch.

Hello Jami!  Hmmmm... by Jan 1st  I hope to lose another 20 lbs.  (with the holidays that is conservative!), increase my exersize (some how to find the type of workout I love!), clean out a mountain of clutter (not just the junk in the trunk!!!) and meet in person some of my  weightloss buddies.

Ok Jami...  I was just gonna lurk too see what everyone said...  BUT YOU CAUGHT ME... lol!  Ok, I'm working on getting this 20lbs I regained and still haven't lost, so my goal is to loose 10lbs of those before January 1st and re-evaluate how much more I want to loose. Since I'm 6 years post op I'm loosing much much slower, but I'm thrilled with my success.  I wish you the best, I know you can do it, you're doing GREAT!!!

My goals are:
1)  to survive my surgery on December 12th.
2)  to be over the pain from the surgery by Christmas (hopefully!!)
3)  and have no complications by New Years.  How's that!?

Oh yeah, to lose some weight by New Years will be nice too.  LOL!
