ROTW-Super Bowl Party Ideas TODAY: WINGS 'n THINGS... Part and Pieces

Wrap the ball of chicken meat with a strip of bacon.
Secure the bacon with a sturdy wooden toothpick.
These can be smoked, grilled, or oven roasted.
This NC company makes a kewl "holder" to do these on the grill.

BBQed CHICKEN GIZZARDS
These are always a BIG hit at my parties. I boil a BIG pot of gizzards, and boil and boil and boil to make them really tender. I put some dried onion in the boiling water to season.
Once done, I stir in some vinegar, crushed red pepper and either some BBQ sauce or ketchup.
My friends eat these up like crazy and beg me to cook them!
RUMAKI
Drain chicken livers. If large, cut in half. Cut bacon strips in half and wrap a piece around each piece of liver. Secure with toothpicks. Shake on some soy sauce or brush with teriyaki sauce. Place on broiler pan and broil, turning halfway until bacon is done an crispy!
There are fancier ways to do these, but I prefer the simple method.
