endoscopy

Hi everyone - I just found this site last week and I'm constantly lurking and finding out as much as possible. So here's my question - what should I expect at my endoscopy tomorrow? I've already done my psych evaluation. I've gotten my cardiac clearance (precautionary because of family history). I'm finishing up month number 2 of the 6 month doc supervised program to satisfy insurance.  Anyway there's so much happening that I completely forgot to ask for details on this procedure? I'll be at Pitt Memorial at 9:30 for it.    - Iris

The endoscopy is a breeze. You get some good sleepy time stuff in your IV. You drift off and wake up in recovery. I slept the rest of the afternoon. I felt no ill effects afterwards. You'll do great! :)

The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking places.

Yep just like Becky said.. you get some nice drugs and then the doc is talking to you and the next thing you know it you wake up in the recovery room I had mine done at Pitt and they are fantastic!!

I was so scared.... and it was unwarranted!  I have a blog about it on my page.  It was easy breezy... no issues there!
